“Successful investment needs professional advice, so does your musical learning.“

AK School of Music is a reputable home studio-based music school in Sydney. We envisage to provide holistic music education and tailored lessons that cater for individual learning needs. We not only provide technical training to strengthen students' inward piano skills, our program also encourages our students to be outwardly-focused, whether it's through gaining experiences by joining music contests, contributing in community outreach such as performing for nursing homes, or becoming creative artists of their own in the form of content creators, composers, and professionals in the music industry.

We have a team of professional and inspiring teachers offering lessons in teachers’ studios and at students’ homes. The areas we currently service include The Hills District, Chatswood, Eastern Suburbs, CBD, as well as Chatswood High School. We employ an integration of Internationally recognised Conservatoire method and 21st Century Education Models with an aim to best develop our students‘ musicality and skills; to nurture their continuous passion in music; and ultimately prepare them into the pathways they choose with the vision of fostering the next generation of musicians.

We currently provide lessons to a diversified demographic ranging from preschool children to adults, across all levels and experiences. Many have achieved excellent results in Diploma exams, HSC Music, AMEB practical and theory exams. A significant number of students have also won numerous prizes from Eisteddfods and some even became professional musicians. Each year, we hold annual student concerts, nursing-home tours and other charity events to practise what we preach, allowing students to develop performance experiences, be outwardly focused and connect music learning to real-life practices.

Our Vision:

We believe that music empowers the lives of individuals and promotes socio-emotional and intellectual benefits. Achieving musical excellence is transformative to various disciplines in life. Access to high quality education via differentiated and enjoyable lessons are also vital to one's effective music learning.

Our Mission:

"We teach the way they learn". AK School of Music strives to incorporate comprehensive, professional education and industry experiences into music teaching. Most importantly, our mission is to provide an environment allowing students of diverse ages and backgrounds to access quality music education, and to help nurture their unique musical talents to their full potential, extending to all facets of life.
